Escape from Alcatraz
Escape from Alcatraz are a 3-piece rock act from the midlands.

Based in Kidderminster the band is made up of:-

LEE (21) - Guitars / backing vocals
ANDY (20) - Vocals / vocals
DAVE (22) - Drums

The band are currently setting out on the first stage of the "PERPETUAL MOTION TOUR" to promote their debut cd "Try to touch the sky" which showcases their ability to write intricate pop and rock anthems on such tracks as "The leaving song", "With hearts higher than stars" and "Take away my life"

They have recently won the prestigeous KLARK TEKNIK* battle of the bands competition where they were judged by important figures in the music industry, not least "Big Mick", sound engineer for the MEGA band METALLICA

*(Klark Teknik are manufacturers and suppliers of the worlds top audio and visual equipment, dealing with such bands as Queen, Genesis, Dire Straits and Metallica, so they should know what they are talking about!!!!)

Things are further looking up as the band have just signed a management deal, and subsequently have interest being shown from venues and record companies in London, Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham.
